App Privacy Policy

OneS takes privacy protection very seriously and we value the trust you place in us. Please read this document regarding our privacy policy.

Note: Our privacy policy is subject to change time to time. To make sure you are aware of the changes, please review this policy periodically.

 

The data and profile information on the app should be used only for constructive Sathya Sai Alumni activities. If any user is found to be misusing the data, he/she will be immediately expelled from the system and blacklisted in our records.

 

What user information does OneS collect and store?

• Your personal details such as name, email address, phone number, photo, birthday, address, and academic (if an alumnus of the Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) and professional information
• Your demographic information such as age and gender
• Your session log information on our app which includes your navigation within the site, source of traffic, mobile devise type and version of mobile software
• Third party sign in information shared on the app such as google, facebook sign in information
• Email communication by any user directly with OneS such as enquiries, disputes or complaints etc.
• Note: User generated content on the site shared by users via posts, reviews, blogs, online chat or discussion boards, forums, user testimonials etc. are not considered as personal information and is not subject to the terms of this privacy policy.

 

How does OneS utilize user or customer information?

We only collect user information as required to serve you and to provide the best services to the user community

User or customer information (as defined above) will be used as described below:

• User information will be sharable with the affiliates and partner orgaisations of the Each One Educate One Foundation that are involved in running the partner schools and colleges whose alumni form the community for whom the OneS app is built
• We use some of the user and customer information defined above to understand customer behaviour and thus offer better and more relevant experiences to you. We use certain information in an aggregated form across users to compile statistical and demographical profiles for our activities.
• We use this information to inform you about updates from the alumni community, user groups and information of interest to you, information on activities that you can participate in.
• We use session log and traffic flow information to understand how users are interacting with our app and to make improvements. This will also be used by us to understand and analyze user preferences and behaviour at an aggregate level.
• We will need to use user or customer information if required in aspects such as legal disputes or other legal processes; comply with any statutory or regulatory requirement; troubleshoot problems; detect and protect against error, fraud and other criminal or illegal activity; collect fees owed; enforce our terms and conditions; prevent abuse of our services; prevent violation of the rights of third parties, other users or the general public

 

System Permissions needed to use the app

• Photos / Video / Camera
• Needed for the user to upload/ download the desired content to/from the app
• Access to photos and videos is asked for -
• Saving the photos on to phone
• To assist in uploading the photos to the app on user selection
• Location services
• User can create an event using location services. To communicate the events or volunteering opportunities that are present near the user.

 

OneS provides all users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving non-essential communications from us, after setting up an account. To remove your contact information from OneS, please write to us at eachoneeducateone@gmail.com
